"Hero": A tribute to the real Superheroes (14MB, ~5 minutes)
found at www.grouchymedia.com, a source of videos honoring our
    military.  To quote the site:
"This video takes a nice depature from the typical hard-hitting songs used
in the first three GrouchyMedia videos. Done to "Hero", by Enrique
Iglesias, this video is a tribute to the real heroes out there fighting to keep
us safe back home. The clip is made up entirely of high-quality images
from recent conflicts and gives us a closer look into life in the service.
The video was sent in a while back by "Izzy", an Inflight Refueling
Specialist in the USAF. He's been a proud member of the Armed Forces
for the past twelve years and plans to put in another eight before retiring.
I'm proud to add his work to the growing collection here at GrouchyMedia.

"Magic F-18 Ride": Take a wild ride through the clouds with a
NAVY pilot on his "magic carpet".  (~14MB, >3 minutes - play
this one at a 200% zoom)
found at www.grouchymedia.com, a source of videos honoring our
    military.  To quote the site:
"This video is the most fun of the three new January videos. The
entire video is spent inside the cockpit of an F-18, from catapult
launch, to landing back on the carrier with a thumbs-up. You'll really
feel like you're riding on a "magic carpet" as the pilot banks and
cruises through the clouds over the open ocean.
Now I wish I could tell you more about who made the video or even
when it was done. Someone sent it in to me a while back and my
efforts to find the editor and/or pilot have been unsuccessful.
Perhaps someone out there can fill me in?
One thing that is clear is that this pilot is having a ton of fun! You can
just imagine him singing along to "Magic Carpet Ride" by
Steppenwolf. It's a great song choice and sure makes me wish I could
be up there flying too!" (added 9/5/05)
